ABOUT ME

Jessica Fung is a UK-based classical concert pianist celebrated for her sensitivity, fluidity, technical command, and richly expressive playing. With a background that bridges Europe and North America, Jessica has captivated audiences through solo recitals, chamber performances, and collaborations with vocalists, dancers, and instrumentalists.
 

Jessica’s artistry has earned her opportunities to perform at distinguished festivals throughout Europe and North America, including the Philadelphia Young Pianists' Academy Piano Festival, Miami International Piano Festival, Bowdoin International Music Festival, Eastern Music Festival, and the Borromeo Music Festival (Switzerland). She has garnered recognition as a prizewinner in over 30 national and international competitions and has performed in prestigious venues including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall and Walt Disney Concert Hall. Her international appearances span the UK, US, Canada, Switzerland, Denmark, Poland, Italy, and China. Recent highlights include invitations to perform at the Summer Music Academy in Bern, a recital series for the Roskilde Art Society in Denmark, and at Copenhagen’s unmute Beethoven Festival, commemorating the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth. She has had the privilege of performing for renowned artists such as Michelle Cann, Enrico Elisi, Piotr Paleczny, Gottlieb Wallisch, Jean-Louis Haguenauer, Craig Sheppard, Robin McCabe, Santiago Rodriguez, William Wolfram, and Alberto Nosè.
 

Jessica holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, where she studied under Prof. Kyoko Hashimoto and was awarded the Graduate Excellence Award and scholarship. She previously completed her Bachelor of Music at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, graduating with top marks in both piano performance and piano pedagogy, under the mentorship of Prof. Jens Elvekjær and chamber music mentor Marie-Luise Bodendorff.
 

Beyond the concert stage, Jessica is devoted to community outreach and education. She has brought music to special needs schools, elder care homes, and hospitals, communicating a message of hope and love through music. Her belief in the transformative power of music guides her commitment to making it accessible and inclusive.
 

Whether on stage or in the studio, she seeks to create spaces of reflection, connection, and resonant experiences through music. In her free time, Jessica enjoys travelling, languages, and writing.
